The “Komodaru” (sake barrel) was originally used to protect and transport sake from rural breweries to big cities such as Tokyo. Today, komodaru are used at celebrations and as interior materials. Sake barrels were a key feature of the Japan Pavilion during the Milano Expo in 2015.
You could hire our display sake barrels for special occasions, such as weddings and store openings.
A wooden scoop and lids are included in the barrel hire fees.
