Hinoki is a tall evergreen coniferous tree species that are indigenous to Japan. It boasts of the world's highest quality, with its excellent colour, lustre and fragrance, ease of processing, and durability of more than 1,000 years.
It was actively used as a material for palaces, and in the "Chronicles of Japan," one of the oldest written records of Japan, it is described as "a good tree for building palaces.
We would like to share with Australians the charm of the Japanese cypress, which has been used in modern life for more than 1,000 years.
