With a career spanning 38 years, he embarked on this artistic journey under the guidance of the esteemed Makuzuyaki potter, Kosai Miyagawa.

Chronicle of Artistic Journey:

  • 1968: Born in Kyoto during the vibrant 23rd year of the Showa era.
  • 1984: Commenced an apprenticeship under the tutelage of Kyomizu Ware artist Kyosai Miyagawa, delving into the intricacies of traditional pottery.
  • 1989: Further enriched his craft by studying at Kyoto Nihonga Specialty School under the guidance of masters Hirota Tatsu and Shionami Jinro.
  • 2002: Established an independent kiln in the serene Daigo Hino no Sato.

Accolades and Achievements:

  • 2010: Attained recognition as a Kyoyaki and Kiyomizuyaki Traditional Craftsman.
