The producer, 'Ochanoko-sai-sai' is a specialty shop for Shichimi Togarashi seasoning (Japanese seven-spice blend) with multiple locations exclusively in Kyoto. Their stores offer a wide range of essential Kyoto seasonings, including Ichimi (Japanese ground red chillies) and Shichimi, as well as Kyoto dashi and Kyoto Rayu Furikake, indispensable in Kyoto's traditional cuisine.
Their flagship products, Ichimi and Shichimi Togarashi, are crafted using a meticulous stone mill method, resulting in an exceptionally fine texture that blends seamlessly with any dish. The chillies, sansho pepper, yuzu, and sesame seeds used in our products are all sourced from contracted farmers across Japan, ensuring they use only the finest, flavourful ingredients.
