Discover the bright, refreshing flavor of MikaPon, a premium citrus ponzu crafted by Sowa Kajuen, a renowned orchard in Wakayama—Japan’s most famous region for high-quality mikan (Japanese mandarins).
Wakayama’s Arida mikan are known throughout Japan for their exceptional sweetness, rich aroma, and perfectly balanced acidity. MikaPon captures this natural goodness by blending fresh Arida mikan juice with soy sauce, bonito and kelp extracts, and a mix of Japanese citrus fruits such as daidai, yuzu, and ogonkan.
Based on Mikan juice, a blend of 4 citrus fruits including Yuzu, Daidai bitter Orange, and Ogon citrus. Characterised by a mild acidity and made with 40% pure fruit juice.
The result is a beautifully balanced ponzu that is bright, tangy, and deeply savory—a flavor you can only achieve when using real orchard-grown citrus.
To be used for seasonal dishes. Salad, fish, meat, shabu-shabu, sushi and dumplings.
