The box includes six types of "Han-namagashi"- sugar jelly candy. 
This is our representative confectionery "Hana no Yoi". The changing seasons are expressed in jelly, shoro '松露' (semi-raw type of refined Kyoto confectionery covered with sugar and syrup batter), rakugan '落雁' (typical Japanese confectionery, made of starchy powder such as rice, mixed with syrup or sugar, coloured and dried in a mould) and red bean paste.

Takanoya Sadahiro was founded in 1927 by Kamenosuke Takano, the founder of Takanoya, on the east side of the Gojo Bridge in Kyoto. It is said that the careful work of the skilled confectioners of Kyoto earned a good reputation and the customers never stopped coming.
Every single step of the process is handmade at Sadahiro Takanoya.
The skilled craftsmen are constantly researching and developing new techniques to meet the needs of the times while keeping alive the traditional techniques inherited from our predecessors.
