“Wako” was named by Hashimoto Gyoin, the respected former head priest of Yakushiji Temple, who chose the name before his passing in 1978.
Wako is a refreshing, smooth usucha from Marukyu Koyamaen, offering a light finish with a gentle sweetness and minimal bitterness. Its clean, full-bodied flavour pairs beautifully with all kinds of confectionery, making it an excellent choice for enjoying Usucha (thin tea).
