New Product | Simply Native Original cookies "Matcha & Bamboo charcoal cookies"

Introducing Simply Native's new original products. We are now selling cookies made with our original Simply Native Original Matcha for Baking and Organic bamboo charcoal powder. Bamboo charcoal powder offers numerous health benefits, including detoxification, improvement of intestinal health, mineral supplementation, blood pressure regulation, and antioxidant properties. It pairs wonderfully with matcha, so be sure to purchase them together for the perfect combination.

 

Here is the simplified version of the recipe for our cookies. These two products have many uses, but this recipe is simple, so anyone can try it.

 

**Ingredients** 

Matcha Cookies 

- 210g Cultured butter 

- 100g Icing sugar 

- 2 Free-range egg yolks 

- 400g Cake flour 

- 5g Salt 

- Vanilla essence

- 10g Simply Native Original Matcha for Baking

 

Bamboo Charcoal Cookies 

- 210g Cultured butter 

- 100g Icing sugar 

- 2 Free-range egg yolks 

- 400g Cake flour 

- 5g Salt 

- Vanilla essence 

- 5g Simply Native Organic bamboo charcoal powder 

- 15g Roasted black sesame 

 

**Instructions** 

1. Preheat oven to 160°C

2. Bring the butter to room temperature

3. Mix the butter with the icing sugar using a spatula until well blended

4. Add the egg yolks and vanilla essence. Mix well

5. Sift and add the dry ingredients (flour, salt, matcha or charcoal powder, Roasted black sesame) and mix until fully incorporated

6. Roll and shape the dough into a log and wrap in cling wrap. Rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes

7. After resting, cut the dough into 2cm thick rounds 

8. Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes
