Learn the basics of kumiko, an ancient form of Japanese woodcraft used in creating decorative panels without nails!
Participants will be creating a small decorative wood panel with the guidance of Colin Howard. Colin blends Japanese and Australian tradition by crafting kumiko with Australian timber (Tasmanian Oak). This workshop is perfect for beginners and artisans alike.

About Your Instructor
Colin Howard has been a fan of Japanese style woodwork for many years. He operates a design and construction business under the banner of 3D Design and Production, based in his workshop in Port Stephens, just north of Newcastle NSW.
